Tomorrow Lawson turns 8 months old

Wow today we did a lot of nothing.. Well Lawson did.. I vacuumed, mopped.. two things I have to do daily because I have a crawler on my hands and two dogs that love to bring the back yard inside.. Then I tackled my overflowing laundry basket.. bleached the bathrooms, went to the grocery store, watched USC kick the butt out of Kentucky, got in 2 walks all while Lawson crawled all over the dogs and the house.

We did take a few minutes to do a photo shoot.. Though the pictures didn't turn out that well I hope you enjoy them.

There may only be a few Fall touches at our house but were ready!! Especially for the cooler weather

To all the Breast feeding moms out there I am sure you will relate to this post. For those of you who dont like to hear about breast feeding or boobs.. feel free to leave now!! 

So those of you who know me know I am not very well endowed up top. Yep before having Lawson I belong to the itty bitty boobie group! Upon getting pregnant everyone said my boobs would grow.. and then did a little but I didnt realize what it was like to have boobs until I started breast feeding. There are the jokes about porn star boobs etc.. Well for me mine were huge.. at first I was like Ok Im done with having big boobs.. this is a pain in the BUTT trying to find stuff to fit the boobs and the butt.. I have always had a butt, even when I did ballet, ran, etc. I have learned to deal with my Butt and learned how to dress it, but as for having Both that was a challenge!

Oh and I never thought I would think that bras were a necessity and Life would be dangerous without one but now I realize from my short time with big boobs.. Yes its dangerous to go with out a bra!!

So now that I am no longer breast feeding the boobs have disappeared I mean come on they are smaller than they were before I got pregnant. Guess thats Gods way of saying if you want boobs again you have to have another child or have surgery.. Its sooo strange to go from having boobs to barely having any!! HOW DO MOMS DO THIS??  And now to figure out how to dress again.. This whole pregnancy, breast feeding, life after is so strange.. Just when you think you have everything figured out you get thrown a monkey wrench!!

To all of you who still have boobs enjoy them !! 

As for me I need like 4 packs of silicone push up boobs to get back to where I was before :)

So I have no clue why I wanted Lawson to start crawling but the minute he got on all 4's and started rocking I was like come on and I showed him what to do.. Today he is slowly but surely all over the place and well He seems to crawl faster when I am not looking!

I crawled all the way to Stoneys Kennel.. Those  of you who know our house.. he had to go all the way around the couch to get here.. LOL



The Wedding

Weddings are always stressful. It doesn't matter if you are the bride, the groom, a bridesmaid, a groomsman, or just a guest.. there is always stress involved or at least that is my experience.

This wedding was super stressful for me.. why I don't know.. Hmm had to order a dress 3 months post-partum.. it came in like 5 sizes too big.. had to have it altered.. Had to find an outfit for the BBQ which was western attire.. Had to figure out what to do with Lawson during the ceremony.. Had to figure out how to share Lawson with everyone so no one would get their feelings hurt that they didn't get to see him... Had to figure out how to keep the hubby happy while he did super daddy duty... Had to figure out how to pay for all the expenses.. How to get Lawson to nap... How to watch TV and read lips to understand what was going on since we couldn't turn the volume on b/c Lawson was napping..... How Lawson would do on the plane flights..... DO I NEED TO GO ON???

So I am glad this wedding is over. Glad my brother is Happy and Glad we have a semi-great family picture from it. As for another wedding this year to go to.. NOPE!! I may be the youngest but most of mine and Jonahs friends are already hitched have multiple kids.. Hey we are the ones behind in life here :)

Rehersal BBQ

Dallas Aquarium

For those of you who check my blog on Mondays, sorry I am late. We had a very busy weekend in Dallas for Grants wedding. While we were there we went to the Dallas Aquarium. It was the one thing I wanted to do and Lawson had a blast.
