SAHM Fun

A friend of mine posted this picture with the following comment on Facebook today!
I cracked up!
Jonah realizes what I do all day and has realized how hard it is to take care of Lawson, the house, and errands....... But I know some people think Stay At Home Moms have it easy and do nothing..
They have no clue!

I hope this makes you chuckles as much as it made me :-)

A man came home from work and found his 3 children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn around garden,
The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and no sign of the dog, walking in the door, he found ...an even bigger mess.
A lamp had been knocked over, the throw rug was against one wall, In the front room the TV was on loudly with the cartoon channel, the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing.
In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door.
He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she might be ill, or that something serious had happened.
He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls.
As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel... She looked up at him, smiled and asked how his day went. He looked at her bewildered and asked, 'What happened here today?' She again smiled and answered, 'You know every day when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world do I do all day?...
''Yes," was his incredulous reply..
She answered, 'Well, today I didn't do it.'

Lawsons first USC Gamecock Baseball Game

I would first like to apologize for being REALLY far behind on blogging. Oh well I get to it when I can ! Lawson seems to be taking an extended nap as he should since we had a very exciting day yesterday. We decided it was time for Lawson to enjoy his first Gamecock Baseball game so we headed about 1 hour and 15 minutes away to our old college stomping ground of Columbia, SC.  First we ate a yummy lunch at Za's brick oven pizza! Lawson gobbled up his Mac and Cheese and his Just Ducky apple and blueberry snacks.

Then we headed to the Game! So much fun!

In the car on the way to see the gamecocks play
We had to make a pit stop after Lunch to buy Lawson a gamecock shirt! The one we had he somehow outgrew quickly.. We had no clue we would fork over $30.00 for a shirt for him but I decided he had to have it so we did. I thought Jonah was going to choke when I told him the cost!
Walking to pick up our tickets

We have our tickets. Thanks Donny

Seems very interested in all the people and what is going on!

It was HOT and sunny so I was worried about Lawson not getting burned.. Key the Blue hat that doesn't match but oh well

Of course the sitting in the lap didn't last too long

Coin toss

AWOW!!

My cute little guy

and this is what Mommy and Daddy did! We took turns going up and down the stairs, taking him to the Bi-Lo Bearm for him to play on the grass and Run

I had to keep one hand on him or I would have lost him :-)

On our way out of the gate.. He was exhausted so we gave in and gave him his pacifier.. We are trying to slowly wean him off his paci! Wish us luck!!

Till next time, Have Fun and I hope you enjoy the outdoors as much as Lawson does!
I just hope he doesn't pick up any more Slugs soon and then hand them to me like he did this morning... YUCK!!!
