Fall has arrived and Its a Rainy Day

Fall has arrived and you know what that means, colds, flu's, cooler temps, orange and red leaves.. and lots of rainy days. I truly don't really think that many people actually read my blog or for that matter follow it but oh well I like to at least update the family. Other friends blogs have about 30 comments on each post.. Not me I barely get one after 10 posts.. Life goes on. 

Today its very rainy and what better a day to stay inside and spend some time with the little guy. What do you like to do on rainy days? Check back later today or early tomorrow to see what we do on Rain days.. Of course from Lawson's perspective.

Here are a few things we have done so far today..

Taken longer naps than usual b/c of the rain

And wake up practicing how to crawl and rock

yeah sometimes I wake up from my naps still sleepy.. Oh well time to eat and play

Mommy says God decided it was time to stop breastfeeding. I miss my boobies but Ive decided its not bad to take a bottle!!

Sometimes mommy needs to do something really quick so she props my bottle up for me to drink it.. b/c I don't like holding it

I love my jumper.. I liked to talk to the doggies.. the things with the wiggly tails that bark... they are my friends

this is my new skill.. I love it but I just wished I could go somewhere

Eating Rings is fun on rainy days too.. Well Ive gotta go.. time for another nap and Mommy says were going to a meet up to see my friends!

Lawsons new exercises

Lawson has a new set of exercises he practices daily in his crib and well on tummy time. We are thinking crawling will be right around the corner.. Its amazing how fast these little ones grow up! I don't know who's more excited about these new movements ME or Lawson!!

September 11th 2001

Two days ago marked the 10 year anniversary of the terrorism attack on the USA that will never be forgotten.

I remember vividly where I was when I was approached by a sorority sister asking if my brother was ok. I had no clue what was going on until she told me. I automatically turned around skipped class and non-stop started dialing Grants cell phone number. 

Of course I could not get through. I called my dad and he hadn't heard anything.I called my mom. I called anyone and everyone to see if Grant was ok. Finally after about 2 hours and arriving home I finally got in touch with my father who said "Grant is ok, his train was late .. it saved his life!" 

Thank god his train was late. I know some of grants friends were not so lucky, nor were the 342 Fireman who died in the line of duty attempting to rescue people and put out the fire.

This past weekend Jonah ran in full gear in honor of the fallen fire fighters. He also helped host a stair climb. Some people climbed and ran in no gear but Jonah said, " those guys climbed close to 90 flights of stairs breathing air, I can do it", so he did. 

Here are some pictures form this weekend. It truly was an amazing weekend honoring those lives lost on 9/11.  

THEY HAVE NOT BEEN FORGOTTEN

Sorry its been a while for an actual blog post. I have been busy, not only watching Lawson roll around and turn around on the blanket, I have also been keeping up with the two kids I had before Lawson. Yes they may have wiggly tails, floppy ears and use barking to communicate but they were my babies and still are!! I have had to make a serious effort to keep them entertained, exercised and well plain out not forget about them since I am so busy with Lawson. I took some photos tonight to let you know they are still the same ole pups!
