This past weekend Uncle Grant and Soon to be Aunt Sunshine came to meet Lawson for the first time. At 13 weeks old he was alot more fun than he was when he was a newborn and well Uncle Grant has all this baby stuff figured out!
We had a blast :) Saturday when Lawson got up at 9 am Grant and Sunshine got to meet him and he was all giggles and smiles. We proceeded to schedule out a lunch with Cheif McElfish and his wife at a local BBQ place called Mac's Speed Shop. Lawson did great and had fun meeting everyone. He only got fussy when he got overly hot from being in his car seat at the table. Upon getting home Uncle Grant helped put Lawson down for his nap. After one observation Grant was swaddling, swaying and shhhing Lawson to sleep. I could have used Grant today when Lawson refused to go down for his nap because when Uncle Grant put Lawson down he was down for good.
Though it was a fun filled weekend we did have some incidents.. Some poop incidents that is.. Lawson pooped out of his diaper when Uncle Grant was holding him. Yes it was going down Lawsons leg and all over Grants shirt.. It was very entertaining.
Prior to Lawson pooping all over Grant he was all smiles. I wonder if he knew what he was about to do...
Later Saturday night Grant joined in the bedtime routine giving Lawson a bath and reading Lawson his book before putting him to bed.
